I can't believe I'm finally done with the violonist's hands. It took forever and I wanted to give up. But hey, the end result is decent enough and I'm proud of myself for sticking with this project and finishing it without rushing.

I have no idea what the head of the violin is supposed to be. On the original photo, it kind of looked like a man's face maybe, but that's a far fetched guess. I should also have considered the fact that never in my life have I held a violin in my hands before I chose to draw this. It's harder when you're not familiar with what you're drawing, no matter how many reference photos you research...

On a sadder note, my adored dog was put to sleep last week. We had her for 11 years, but her age was quickly catching up with her. I miss her a whole lot...

I don't know if I'll update again before the holidays... One of my problems is I have to many interests. So when I'm done with one project, I usually start over with a new one but in a different area. With christmas, there the gingerbread house, tree decorations, house decorations, holiday cards, gifts and so much more to do and prepare. That's means I won't start another 'big' drawing in the next weeks. If I have anything to update, it will be more in the line of some doodles I'll do over my lunch break at work.
